We have a very special concert coming up which brings together the New College Chorale with a host of musical friends. The reason? Well, there are two. The first and main reason is to raise money for Parkinson’s UK – a fantastic cause which has personal resonance for Chorale conductor Bob Wysome. The second  is to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all of the people who have supported Bob in music-making over many years, culminating in the award of a British Empire Medal ‘for services to music in Shropshire’.

The programme includes performances from, among others, A Capriccio, New College Chorale, Shropshire band ‘Bandicoots’, with the evening compered by Malcolm Potter. From Sondheim to Bernstein to British folk songs arranged by Bob Wysome, voices will join together in a fun and diverse musical celebration.

Join us on Friday 27 March at the Centenary Theatre of Wrekin College to be part of a truly memorable evening.
